One of my favorite dish that I can cook myself is Chinese Steamed Eggs its really easy to make.
- 3 Eggs
- 250ml Water
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Spring onion
- 1/2 Teaspoon light soy sauce
Shake the eggs with water, salt and oil. Use warm water up to 40° C to shorten the time used to steaming.
Wash the spring onion and chop it in about 5mm pieces. Add them to the eggs and stir.
Cover the bowl with cling film (German: Frishhaltefolie) to protect the content from the steam. Let it steam for 15-20 minutes.
Take out the bowl and remove the cling film.
After adding the soy sauce, it’s ready to be served.
